Under the Blue Moon – festival of all things darkly beautiful, Sydney's Dark Alternative Festival can artists and alternative designers performing and showcasing at the festival's highlight event The All Hallows Eve Ball on the 31st October at the Factory Theatre. The main stage Line up includes GPKISM (Japan), Juke Baritone + The Swamp Dogs, The Horrorwood Mannequins, Chaingang and The Mansons with special guest Simon Day. In our dungeon of debauchery hosted by Uber be delighted by the sultry Lola The Vamp, the ever so naughty Fancy Piece and Celia Cutis and her bed of nails. DJ's will be smashing up the dungeon walls all night long with heavy alt beats from DJ Requiem, Ash, metaVirus, Unit 13 and DJ Dasein.

Lunarmorph returns in 2009 as part of The Hallows Eve Ball, showcasing the best alternative designers from Australia including Gallery Serpentine, The Wild One, Beserk and Baroque & Roll with more to be announced.

CRESSIDA Project - 7th October 2009


Canberra's Dark Music Network

A lot of people say you have to go out of state to meet or collaborate with other musically minded people. The goal of this project is add a bit of grease to the dark side of the Canberra music scene.

This is the second installment of the CRESSIDA Project events. They are held monthly on the first Wednesday of the month at Kremlin Bar. This one will be mainly about getting to know each other, what we do, interests, influences, techniques that sort of thing.

Photographers, film types, sound recordists, DJs, producers, writers, artists, lyricists, cartoonists, synth heads, hardware buffs, any maker with a taste for the darker side of life, all welcome!

Bring your Laptops, CD samples of your music, whatever you have and show off what you got.

Kicking off in 1999 God Module have been whipping audiences into a frenzy all over the world for a decade with their own style of aggrotech.
