Canberra Roller Derby League Friends and Family Bout - 20th June 2009

So the Canberra Roller Derby League (CDRL) is getting on its feet and coming close and closer to stepping in to the public arena . To aid this I will be spinning some Riot Grrrl influenced tunes for their listening pleasure. To reflect the different style of music I will be DJing under the pseudonym DJ Pig Plague. Taking inspiration from the Tank Girl sound track and adding in a whole load of Rockabilly, Psychobilly and straight out Rock and Roll with as many female leads as I can muster.

See the above poster for info on fundraisers and information sessions.

Keep and eye out for CDRL in future!

Berserk - 30 May 2009 (Guest Spot)

Berserk is one of Sydney's best (and my favourite) Cybergothic/Electro-Industrial nights. I have been to the last two events and had an incredible time dancing to some brilliant music. You won't get this quality of event anywhere else in the NSW/ACT with art and electric lighting widgets everywhere, videos and a great sound system, awesome atmosphere and great music, it's got everything.

I was lucky enough to be invited by DJ Dasein to guest at the May 09 event. After seeeing the quality of the acts at this event it is a real honour to guest there. If you are in the Sydney or the ACT this event is worth any trip you have to take to get there.
